Hi!
If you want an even higher initial peak boost value, simply T into the wastegate line a small sealed volume, such as a small aerosol can or the pictured camping water container. This will allow boost to flare a bit, as the can needs to fill with pressurised air before the wastegate starts to move. This can be a surprisingly effective modification - on one Charade Turbo, fitting just the over-boost can was enough to give wheelspin on every full throttle first-second gear change!

This canister is known as an accumulator in pneumatics theory. They do work, but I belive you need to calculate / play about the correct volume required in the canister for a specific turbo. I have heard about 160cc provides a reasonable delay to wastegate actuation and wastegate leakage (always an issues to some degree)
One of these accumulators in a T comibination with a restrictor valve in series with the wastegate actuator feed, is a far superior setup to a bleed valve.

What do people think about this?
Can you please go into that again
what is a T comibination with a restrictor valve in series with the wastegate actuator feed????
and why would this be better then a bleed valve?
john<---------nice but dim
