Is that a ClutchNet clutch? I've always wanted to try one of those!

I hear nothing but great things from the 600whp guys. We tend to use the Exedy Twin Disc, simply because it retains near-stock drivability, but I've really been interested in the clutchnet stuff.

Yeah, clutchnet. Using it with the unsprung 6 puck.

$295 shipped.

We will see if it works. A guy on NASIOC ordered one and the "pivot point" was in the wrong spot and he ended up not using it AND not getting any refund.....

PPG will handle it no problem.

Doug will be using it with a stock tranny no doubt.

I can't wait to hear feedback!

Why is having a stronger pressure plate supposedly harder on gears?

Probably just more shockloading to the gears.

I'm curious as to how this pans out. I'm gonna need a clutch sometime here in the future, and I don't want to regret a decision. My oem 6mt clutch only has about 20k on it, but she doesn't like lauches so much.

Less slip on the launch, less slip when shifting.

My all time favorite clutch-to-date is the Clutchmasters 4-puck with a sprung hub. What a great setup that was. It took a little getting used to, but it really really was a breeze to launch with a stock flywheel. 6000RPM, feed it out, a little-bit-o-spin and away you go!

Its working good so far......

Pedal pressure is of course pretty hard, but its not on/off at all. You just have to have the muscle to hold the pedal at the right point while putting slowly in 1st and reverse.

I may have some issues with slipping for a bit as the 6-puck wears down to match the pressure plate side as it was un-evenly worn by the SPEC pressure plate.

I am having the SPEC plate resurfaced locally and it will be good to go in my other project sedan.

I dunno how good your clutch cable is but I've snapped a few of them..it's not fun having to drive home in traffic without a clutch.

I had the upper clutch cable clevis on a (oh crap, the H word) Honda Civic break. the piece hit me in the shin while sitting at a stop light in down town Charlotte, NC at 2am. Thought I'd been shot or smething. Drove the car the rest of the way to Alabama without a clutch, followed a county sheriff thru the stop lights for about 6 blocks, had to start it in gear at everylight.

That was NOT fun.
