ok so my legacy is still stock (just waiting to get emissions to tear it apart ) on the intake before the bov and after the MAF there is this stupid box looking thing you know what im talking about..it looks like just an intake muffler but it has a few hoses hooked up to it..i was wondering if i could just cap the lines and put a straight piece of pipe there and get rid of the box

also how could i get a cone filter to fit?

Search for "coffee cup mod"

There are MAF adapters, but they're not recommended in general because of the fragile nature of the MAF. A better panel filter is a good idea, and replacing that chamber with something simpler is going to help.

thanks and yeah i mostly want to hear the turbo spool louder i for one hate having a quiet car its too boring lol

yeah believe me, cofee mug mod will help you hear your turbo. Search for "desnorkle" too cause that adds some nice intake noises. With my setup I can hear my turbo quite easily and the bpv sounds sweet.

taking the snork off makes the car sounds sweet. and it does give you a little bit more spunk in the drive.
