Grill & emblems

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to get your opinion on something. Jason posted something last week about maybe getting some sti emblems. My grill could used to be repainted, it pops off pretty easy. Right now it's two tones....a lighter gray around the outside, and a darker charcoal color on the inside....I'll attach some pictures so you can see. Anyway I'm interested in the Sti rabbits, I was sorta liked the carbon one better, and was thinking of repainting the grill all charcoal color or light gray....or if anyone has any better suggestions....or possibly with the gold sti bunny.

Here's pics of the grill w/ current emblem, a close up of the two different colors, and pics of the two sti emblems.

Thanks for the feedback......I guess this also too impinges on getting the Sti emblems....

I have the same one. I'm thinking I'm going to do the same thing a friend of mine with an Impreza RS did:

Cut out all the inside of the grill so all you have is the edge of the thing with the mount points. Then take some material - your choice, my buddy used some very interesting chicken wire - and glue it to the inside across the thing. Then take the emblem mount in the center of the cut out and cut it off from the remains of the grill and glue it into place in the center. To put a picture in your mind think about what the Ford Mustang grill looks like - but better because its a Super Roo!
