STi & Turbo Legacy Up-pipes are identical
I did a little searching, and found a comment, but nothing definitive.
The two up-pipes are identical. I measured the ID of the piping at both the inlet & outlet. They're the same. I'll have to double check, but I'm pretty sure the ID is 1-5/8".
The only differences is that the STi up-pipe metal shielding has "Subaru" stamped in it. Other then that, they're identical.

Doh!
And all of those loyal owners who purchased someone's STi take-off U/P because the STi owner went aftermarket essentially wasted what ever cash they paid for the stock STi pipe... Sad really. Glad I found out ahead of time before I made the same mistake.

There is a benefit to the STi up-pipe.....it's not 10+ years old. The studs are less likely to be messed up, or stuck, not to mention rust, rattles, etc.
That was my main reasoning for going with the STi up-pipe....that and I got one locally.
