Leaking window

Does anyone have any good solution on where to stuff "something" to
get rid of the "whistle" (leaking) appearing at higher speed from the
side window? I've tried to ensure (=glue) the sealing strip is tight,
with no affect...

Heh, that whistle comes from the panel that's behind your sideview
mirrors.

Try pressing really hard on it when it starts, you'll see what I
mean - some silicon caulking fixed it in my car.

I stuck a 10 gauge ground wire in behind trim, get the good stuff so it's nice and flexible.

On one of my Subaru's, if I wedged something eg fingers in the middle
of the window and up against the rubber seals the noise vanished.

if you take the mirror (with the window down and door opened), and gently lift it so that you move the mirror bracket in a hair this should fix your problem, it worked on both my doors. i was very careful because i didn't want to be standing there with my mirror in my hand going oops. It took a couple of lifts and tests to get it.

Now I'm just wondering why I drove around for two years with this

I'm glad it worked, i find that sometimes i have to re-adjust the same way again (normally in the winter)
