Interested in Stock bumper beam & associate bolts (90-91

Post by Legacy777 »

I'm not sure if it's worth trying to ship a bumper beam, but mine was messed up by the shop that did some body work a couple years back. The nuts holding the bumper beam to the car are not there, or are possibly sketchy. Plus several of the bolts with the big heads have snapped off in the nuts welded to the bumper beam.

So I'm curious if anyone has one laying around without a bunch screws/bolts broke off in it, and if anyone has some of the bolts with the big heads, and the two main bolts that hold the bumper to the chassis.

Thanks
Josh

Is the beam between 90-91 different than 92-94?

If not I have the one on my parts car I can pull for you. If nothing else the bolts should work.

However, I won't be back out to the shop for another week or two but if Frank or someone else can't help you before then, let me know.

Yeah beam is different between between the 90-91 MY's and the 92-94 MY's. The 91 Turbo is even different still...

Umm....sort of.....I've been waiting for the radiator for a while now......another week won't kill me.

I may start cutting on my current bumper beam......if I find that welding the nuts on is going to be a pain or not work well, I'll just consider my current bumper beam a test fitment.

So yeah definitely let me know what you plan to do.

I still would like to get the bolts regardless.

Thanks
Josh

Lee,

Do you still have the bolts available?

I need two or maybe more of the bolts with the big fat head on them. (I'd take what you had) I also need one of the bolts that holds the bumper skin to the lower portion of the car (bottom of the bumper)

I can take some pictures of the bolts in question if you would like.
