'02 WRX clutch into '89 JDM turbo?

I've searched but can't find a definitive answer. I'm looking at a Spec Stage 1 kit with organic disc. The part number is the same for '02 WRX as well as '91 SS. I've found the WRX kit cheaper on a site that doesn't list anything for old Legacy. I'm hoping there aren't any differences between '89 JDM and '91 US turbo trannies as far as clutch and flywheel goes.

If you are going to use the wrx clutch setup you need the wrx flywheel.
