gr2 stock fit?
Hey there. I'm about to put new struts in the front and rear cause I'm pretty sure they haven't been replaced for the life of the car (around 175k.) So I was wondering if there's any modification you have to do to a 90 legacy NA to make the gr2s fit. They seem to be the popular choice for this car.

KYB makes the OEM struts and shocks, so they're shouldn't be any fitment issues. They made a huge difference on my '02 LGT, greatly reducing squat/dive and making the car much more settled in turns. They are significantly stiffer than OEM, so there is more NVH transmitted to to the cabin; if you're at all performance-minded the trade-off is worth it.

nope.
i loved how the GR2s improved the ride and handling of my old 90 FWD legacy.
are you installing them or having a shop do it?
either way start spraying down all the large bolts on the spindle now with some sort of penetrating oil.

no, I doubt the part # is the same. There's a chance the front struts may be the same....but I'd have to look to verify that.
