Hi All,

Just a quick question.

Will a Link ECU off an early model WRX (e.g MY95) fit (and be
compatable)on an aust spec 93 Liberty RS??

Brett Middleton mentioned on another list that it will fit but need
retuning.

Which was also confirmed by the person selling it.

If I decide to go ahead with the fit, I will just need to re-tune it.
Considering the extreme work done on the car it is coming off I think
that a re-tune would definately be a good idea.

I take it you are in oz , well bretts your man, i went the unichip route
with more boost and a mrt exhaust, and a bigger turbo, will have to get a
remap soon as i had it mapped with old turbo, abot 260bhp at 1.1 bar, but
boy dose she drink petrol

Yep, I'm in OZ, should have mentioned it.

As far as engine mods go at the moment I have a full MRT system, MRT
intake mods and a Blitz EBC. The Link has just come up second-hand
from a friend so I thought it may come in handy to compliment what I
have already done.

260bhp at 1.1 bar sounds good to me.

How hard is it to map a Link??? I'm in Tasmania so no 4wd Dyno
available.

you don't HAVE to use a 4wd dyno to tune the car, it helps but sure aint a
requirement

there is heaps of logging software also available to assist if you need

IE Link "data trap"
