there's a miss when I drive through water

Hey guys,

I have a 1993 legacy BF5. Whenever I drive through water, even a little water, the car starts missing. Any idea what could be the problem?? Help!

The Water is the problem!

Assuming you are not running through High water/rivers & getting a little water in the MAF something that does not want the be wet gets wet.
I'd start with the ignition system - wires, coilpack & make sure your MAF is dry (inside & outside) when this happens....

2nd on the wires. Mine was horrible after running through some rain. Wires fixed it all.

Hey man i had this problem. And i didnt know what it was till i looked in my fender on the passenger side. there is a plastic box or wise considered the air box. That thing cracks easily and when you go through water it gets sucked up in the the air filter and to much to much to air intake tube. and so on.
