I found a set of 'used' (never installed) Kartboy 2 pot brackets. When I recieved them a second set of brackets was also in the package.
These are tagged with a Brembo logo and Brembo part# 90.2229-C. I'm assuming these are to install the STI Brembo 2 pots on R160 hubs. But which hubs? FHI 2 pot hubs or normal sliding caliper hubs?
Anybody know? If not I'll have to test them next week when I do my brake swap.

Interesting. I did some searching and couldn't come up with anything for that part #.
They look like they could be what you think they are, but there is no way to tell until you hold one up to a backing plate and caliper. I didn't know Brembo even made such a bracket. They do appear that they are for the rear, as something for the front, like a Gran Turismo brake kit would radially mounted brackets.

Put both brackets next to each other. They should be a match.
The Brembo brackets are thicker (for a different rotor offset) and mount the caliper slightly further outward (for a larger rotor) than the regular Kartboy brackets. The center-to-center distance for each par of mounting bolts is the same, however.
Either way, once identified, the etra set will most likely be for sale to re-coup a bit of the costs.

You can actually bolt brembos right up to the FHI 2-pot backing plate.
Yeah, I read somewhere you can get R160 Brembo rotors. Brembos are too expensive to maintain for a 15+year old daily driver. FHI 4pot/2pot will do just fine.
OT...Do you guys sell parts out of the shop there? Specifically looking for a place to get SS brake lines without waiting another week for shipping.

we don't keep much in stock because we can generally get anything within a day or two. techna-fit is in LA and will have subaru lines, and south coast subaru carries goodridge stuff. We get a lot of stuff from SCS.
