In driving up one of the mountain passes east of Vancouver there were a few cyclists--some roadies and some tourists with panniers. The rise from 700 feet to over 4000 must be a grind.

Ahead on a straight there appeared to be the tallest bike or cyclist I've seen. In getting closer--it was a guy, with a pack--on a unicycle.


It was a large wheel with a mountain bike tire, a tallish seat with a small handle bar.
Googled the subject and the guy is on a cross-country tour.
The rider posted that it was difficult going downhill. I guess so
