its a TD06-20g turbo that i got from a friend on here trading my jdm 16g for.

both turbos needed rebuild and this one is a direct drop in for my car where the 16g is a direct drop in for his car. so it all works out for us both in the end. :-D

Looks like the turbo does not have a Subaru inlet flange, is your car flanged for this turbo(The custom up-pipe on my OBS-t is flanged for Mitsubishi square inlet housings)?

I had a hybird of one these made out of some spare parts.

CHRA was a free Eclipse TD05-14B (same turbine & shaft as a 16G)
TD06-20G Compressor housing & wheel were also free

I sent everything to a company called the gpopshop & they machined the Compressor to the TD06-20G compressor housing to the TD05 CHRA, clipped the turbine wheel for me, & balanced everything.

Thier work is incredible & it came back looking like a brand new Turbo...
So it is now a TD06-20G / TD05 hybird that is a direct fit for both Subaru & Mitsubishi TD05 e-housings.
It should pump out the same 650 CFM but should spool quicker than a TD06 so it should be Nice!
? if It will go on the SS or OBS-t which both have 16G's on them right now (Standard TD05-16G on the SS & EVO III TD05-16G on the OBS-t (straight off a EVO III motor swap)).

They sell rebuild kits pretty cheap too - I think Mitsubishi kits are about $100 & should be better than the chinese e-bay rebuild kits.

well im not really sure if ill hook it up to my car because ive got a garrett 50 trim on there right now. but i will definitely have her rebuilt and hold on to it just in case if my turbo shits on me.

BXSS dude you always come up with some awesome stuff. so have you installed that turbo to your car yet?

oh and yes i have a custom up pipe made for gerrett style flanges, same with my down pipe is the three bolt setup

Had to check because the flange did not look triangular...lol...
50 trim should be nice.

As far as the turbo I have to give credit to my buddy Vince for this one. He, another buddy of mine (who did 95% of the work), & myself turned his Mirage into an EVO III (4G63, AWD, FMIC, 3"TBE, Clutch type LSD rear diff, all the other bells / whistles...) & had to wait for a 18G turbo to be a clipped from this company called the gpopshop.

The turbo looked like a brand new turbo but was actually a used unit that was just clipped & rebalanced by them.
We were impressed with the work & Vince gave me the 20G compressor & wheel that I had adapted onto a freebie Eclipse TD05-14B turbo for a low buck high CFM hybird.

The EVO III turbo is on my OBS-t & the 20G is in my garage waiting to go on a car...
It will probably go on my OBS-t when its built motor is plopped in.

The homemade EVO III has a full EVO III body / interior conversion & will be going for a paint job soon - it is VERY Quick!

I recommend the gpopshop to anyone looking to get turbo rebuild parts, get a full rebuild, get a wheel upgrade done, or get a custom turbo made.
They do AMZING work @ very reasonable prices!
We'll be using them to convert some older Garrett turbos to carbon seals so they can be used on Carb'd draw through turbo applications for old school cars.

You can send it to them OR get a rebuild kit for it, rebuild it yourself (about 1/3 of the cost of them rebuilding) & then just send the CHRA to them to be balanced (just $45 to rebalance the turbo).

Looks like TD06 rebuild kits are either $89 or $134 depending on if the compressor is flat or super backed.

Looking @ the first pic it looks like the turbo may be a TD06-17C off a Typhoon / Syclone as the compressor blades look to be all the same size indicating a "b", or "c" wheel ex. 14b, 17c, 19c....

G wheels have little, big, little fins all around the turbos compressor - ex. 15G, 16G, 18G, 20G...

Are the fins all the same size?

Either way the turbo will flow more than a 16G (Small=505CFM, Standard=520cfm @ 1 bar), but the 20G is a pretty big step up from a 17C (17C=550cfm, 20G=650cfm @ 1 bar).

the blades are all the same size.
Ive seen this same turbo for the typhoon as an after market set up on a web site so i think your right on that. and the guy that had it originally made like 400 wheel horse.
