While cleaning up and assembling the intake manifold for my 2.35 stroker I noticed this kink in the fuel supply hose. This is the main inlet, from the fuel filter.

And for comparision, a non-damaged one.
Think this will pose a restriction with supplying enough fuel? It's a 2.35 stroker with a 90 degree inlet TD05-16G and USDM STI 550cc "yellow" injectors? Intercooler to de determined. Straight California 91 octane pee-water- no meth/alchohol/water injection or any other "consumable" octane enhancer.
My horsepower will be set by the weakest link, and I don't want it to be the stupid fuel rail. Ideally I'd like to "max out" the turbo. And for smog reasons a parallel fuel feed is a secondary, but possible, option.

I wouldn't risk it. Chances are that you could get away with it, but if you're looking to supply enough fuel to max out a TD05, you may as well get a new rail or repair that one.
Can you squeeze the sides of it with pliers to help round it back out?

It should be fine. I believe almost all of the fuel rails I've seen have some sort of flat bend like that......although that one may look a little more flat.
Oh yes, I know. But I'm trying to stay "clean" and be able to pass a visual smog inspection in addition to the sniffer.
I think I'm going to see if I can source another set of EJ20G fuel lines/rails. Second choice is to replace just that section with hose. That should look pretty factory also.

Unless you are shooting for over 250 whp, I suggest the "plier" fix.
