Fiberglass Hood interest?

Post by Bussaca »

I still got some race hood for 89-91 Legacys from the groupbuy left over..

I think i got 5 left.

Race hood is a fiberglass shell. with threads and bolts for mountings for hinges and latch, although hood pins are recommended.. as well as instalation by an autobody shop although many have opted to do the installation them selves.

Race hoods were differant from show hoods as there was a manufactureing defect, a 1/4 inch lip is visable around the hood scoop but can be buffed and smoothed out

Looking for $250 + Shipping

Any interest?

I might be interested depending on shipping as it would be easier to modify a FG hood than the steel one to vent radiator exhaust heat out the top for drag reduction, plus the lack of weight would be nice. I'd even take a slightly damaged one if you have one as I'd be ditching the hood scoop and having to make a big hole near the front anyway. What would shipping be to 01915?

It's from last month, he posted it saying he had hoods and then disappeared. Unless you've heard otherwise?
