Talked to Rod last night. He's still kickin.....just no internet access at the moment, he said he's hoping to have cable in a couple months.
He's gone a little over the deep end with his car....hahaha. He's getting a 2.2T engine built, forged rods, pistons, Heads gone over......I don't remember all the stuff but target hp he said was around 400. The engine is being designed to withstand 30 psi of boost. He said he probably wouldn't run that all the time, but given good conditions he would like to be able to run it.
His 2.2 N/A motor he turbo'd has eaten some exhaust valves.....sounds mainly due to the fact he can only get 91 octane gas. He said it still pulls strong though. He was running 15psi on that motor with alcohol injection. Crazy....just crazy.
Anyway, he wanted me to let everyone know he didn't die and is still around. I'll keep everyone informed if I hear any more details on his insane motor project.

Talked to Rod Grosvenor.....
Was wondering about him glad to hear he is still a Subie owner.
Talking about deep ends we now have started on a engine for a customer
that will be a 2.5l closed deck. A EJ22t block bored out and sleeved,
target for this one is 500. I wonder just what the limit will be when
someone finds it I am sure it will be spectacular. What we have
resorted to for fuel is mixing our own. We are lucky that we have a
source for Sunoco 100 here.
