2.3 cosworth 16v came stock with about 180hp through a Getrab 5sp to the rear wheels.

I'm quite handy with the CIS injection, and I've always wanted one of these. Turns out, there really kinda cheap and dont quite have the following of the E30 M3.

One in Seattle right now with a little body damage for $2500.

Someone talk me out of this! :-D

I don't know much about them, but if you don't mind the cost of maintenance, it's an interesting car.

Do it!!!

I've always wanted a Cossie Benz...

My friend who owns Prestige Auto in Salem built a 1995 E300D with a 603 and a Getrag 5 speed...such a bitchin' car...

I would really fancy a 190E 2.3 with a 602 or 603 in it...

That sounds like a deal to me.

Why is that one at a cemetery? Anniversary of the death of manual transmission sporty M-Bs?

These were the last of the real Mercedes, though. I thought they were pretty bullet-proof. Is there a Cosworth-specific issue? They just did the heads, I thought.

They just did the head.

It looks like there were a couple different versions, the rerest being the EVO II with the 2.5.

The one up top is not the one for sale for 2K, its probablly in the 10 to 12K range I bet.

Heres the cheap one.

Looks like it would be some pretty simple body work, but kinda hard to tell I suppose. Doesn't really matter as I couldn't get the cash together untill I sell my LandCruiser anyway.

That's actually pretty cool looking. Seems awful cheap for what you're getting - must have a bajillion miles.
