so i have changed a bunch of sensors replaced the plugs and wires after discovering a massive blow by. The car now runs considerably better but some how at idle is putting out almost triple the amount of HC's at idle. balls lol this sucks. The guys said a new cat would help and i have a magnaflow that i never put on so ill try that and see what happens. anyone have and ideas?

Do you have the actual readings from the test, ppm of HC you are at, and ppm requirement to pass?

Are you ok on all the others, CO & NOx? Are you passing with flying colors or just barely passing?

Did you drive the car very hard before taking it to the test station to make sure the cat was up to temp?

What sensors have you replaced?

I'm slightly confused - Did the amount of hydrocarbons go up from you last test, or... From your last test results it was only putting out about an extra 50% over the max.

Did you run any sort of fuel/engine cleaner?
