Retired rallyx ride rips up the road in rookie class

Post by beatersubi »

Welp, Jon decided to retire the shop rallycross car to tarmac use(damn shame, if you ask me). So we took it autocrossing. After a few tweaks it was entered in the novice class of WWSCC's winter 'slush series'. We were really competing against each other, but he ended up taking second with me finishing first in the short three-event series.
I'm sure that by now all of you are super excited by this, but here are some vids just in case any of you would rather watch than read (like me):
round 1
round 2
We didn't get any vids of the final round as the batteries in the camera were dead and neither of us had the foresight to bring spares. :( Which is a damn shame as autocross is so much more fun and exciting on a wet surface. Pics can be seen here.
93 legacy wagon L, 22T swapped (TW imitator) now with five forward speeds. (Gone, but never forgotten)
