ive had this stupid thing for 6 months and have yet to get it to connect to a car. my laptop sees the cable but it wont connect to a car. I had to find a driver off the web, since the one posted in the other thread on here no longer works.
maybe another different driver i dont know about?

1) the revtronix and evoscan usb cables use the same drivers.
2) just get the latest driver from http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm instead.

Mike,
Are you trying to connect to your chipped ecu? If so, then that's the problem. My tune modifies the UART speed of the ECU for testing purposes. Unless the revtronix software can alter the buad rate, then it will not work.
