Yeah - Petter has been doing really well this year. It's a pity the 'Ginger Whinger' is going to be his team mate next year.

I know Richard Burns is a fast driver and current world champion, but give me Colin McRae for panache, crash or dash every time!

I guess you guys get more coverage than us - our final day highlights are not on until 00:50 tomorrow morning (BST) when we'll see what happens...

I was listening on wrc.com, they've got live radio... I got back from the bars and checked out rally-live, saw that they were still within a second of each other and that the penultimate stage was going to kick off, so I stayed up and listened! Pure gold, I can't wait to see it on TV!

Great race! I watched it earlier this evening and it was exciting as hell. It's good to see someone in a Subaru getting a win once in a while  I think next year will be exciting as well, I'm one of the few that really likes Burns.

Excuse me for not watchin the WRC as a real Subaru fan should , but the last time I saw an event, good ole Petter was first in line to win the championship! Where is he now?

He has won the driver's championship and elevated Subaru way above Ford for manufacturers with help for once from the once great Tommi Mak.

I think Tommi did a great job for Subaru mentoring Petter and helping develop their Impreza platform. He certainly hasn't been as quick as he was in the past, but I think he probably helped the team a LOT more than people give him credit for.
