Baked my old drivers side headlight, mocked my grille even though its not done, the big silver pieces are the driving light holes from the truck front bumper and my left driving light lense came off after resting the truck bumper piece on it so I wiped the reflective stuff out so it looks like a baked driving light.

Subaru lettering on the bumper is really tacky imho.

The lettering is on the fog light covers and it goes away quite often, fogs are better than the driving lights at night even when its clear. So its mostly a why not thing and odds are I will re-do the covers some time in the future. Its still better than flat black with "blazer" in large faded white lettering and that didn't fly with me.

Over the weekend I swapped gas tanks. Its not as hard as you would think, my only issue was the mid pipe to axle back connection which I never got unhooked due to rusted bolts, instead I took the exhaust off at the y pipe and that was fine. I got a video of the exhaust open at the y pipe too, on to the pictures now.

After re-installing everything minus the exhaust and wheels, the second picture is just to show the color of the rear cross member. I didn't know they were gray.

And the exhaust video, I kinda wish I could have kept it like this or at least had an axle back to install.

I remember replacing my tank after finding out it was full of rust. Looks like you had a lot more room to work on it than I did. It wasn't fun at all. I got enough dust and dirt in my eyes to bake a mud pie.

They're painted black, however over time with dirt and grime they look kind of grayish.

I hated messing with the gas tanks when i did my FWD 4EAT to AWD 5MT Swap... I had about 5 gal of gas in my awd tank, and no one around me could let me barrow a gas can at all, stingy pigs... Anyways, yeah you had a much much nicer work area too...

Time to remember this thread lol. Since the gas tank swap stuff, the a/c is gone, got the other shift knob installed, got a free twin 8" sub box with JBLs', drove a couple hundred miles on a bad wheel bearing, got a turbo grille installed, got 27 mpg on the bad wheel bearing, moved my driving lights further back for more of a stock look, and polished the left rear corner. Now for the picture load.

Yeah, I was really pleased with the results considering I only use McDonalds napkins lol. I did the rest of the car too but its dark so no pictures yet. I can already tell the difference will be amazing. Expect pictures tomorrow, probably around noon. I made sure to use something better than napkins this time too.

Much better now that the white fender is painted, along with the grille. Sadly, the badge chipped when I was taking it off so the blue background badge is no longer on the car... Next, I need to do the hood and the front bumper cover could really use a respray. Now if I had projectors to retrofit, I wuld get them in and paint the headlights but thats for another day. Opinions on the light bar and lights on it would be nice, I'm still not totally sure if I like it or not.. Anyways. on to the recent pictures.

Whatever you're using on the hood is not working. You should try something different.
