disabling fuel pump?

Post by comets »

I am trying to replace my fuel filter,

However, I cannot find the 'plug' to the fuel pump.

I've managed to remove the rear bench (2bolts) from my 94's Wagon,

I lifted the seat up and no plugs connectors.

I've been reading this thread - http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic. ... p&start=50

and watched this video

TIA!

The location you are looking for would be behind the rear back rest, where the wagon's trunk liner meets the rear back seats.

Below is a picture of a sedan but is the same location as the wagon with the cover plate already taken off that exposes the white connector to fuel pump. Hope that helps

Got it, fuel filter replaced :) Thanks for the picture.

PS: Your interior looks very clean - I wish my seat belts are as new.

There is a connector under the rear seat. It's usually covered with a black foam piece to hide it.
