Epic Build Threads

Post by kimokalihi »

I love looking through other people's build threads. Especially if they're far beyond my capabilities and bankroll. Then I thought,"Maybe I could share the really good ones I find and at the same time save myself some time searching and let people share ones they've seen with me."

So if you know of a really amazing build thread that blew you away please share!

I'll start with this VW swap I just checked out.

How about, lets simplify it to "Your Single Most Favoritest Epic Build Thread"?
Some of us don't have the time to read through a bunch of build threads, good as they may be.

Here's one that I've read all 32+ pages of. Their business is primarily EVO's but they do some Subarus and Fords as well.

Epic Build Threads

I'd say 99% of the build threads I read are offroading related, anyone interested in those?

Besides that the rear engine intergra build is epic if anyone has that link

My Vanagon Syncro diesel engine swap (along with a huge amount of other work)
I don't know if it's epic, but it certainly has been a saga; 5 years on the table to date... Hope I get to drive it before I'm too old to climb up into it.

Maybe dig up my builld thread for the '91 SS-RA, that was pretty entertaining...

Sweet. Thanks for sharing that website. I have one more thing to occupy my time at night. There are some sick garages on that site.
