Kleinkid and I are currently attending, here's some pics I've taken so far:
Day 1 - at Portland International Raceway:

PIR is open 7 days a week, so before we got on course some other cars were having a track day.
The rally used the same paved section as above, but also used part of the motocross track for some off road action:

Nice pics!
I tweaked them so you weren't super scrolling to the right.

I think I saw you guys at dufur, maybe not, somebody familiar looking though in a winestone. That freaking dip leaving the parking lot destroyed my lip I don't know why the hell they didn't fill that in.

Not one, but two, Lancia Scoprios. And a XR4ti on Ronals.
I'm really upset that I missed this now.

Ahh yes it was a Scorpion! That's what I was thinking but looking at it again it definitely is. The guys next to me were convinced it was an 037, uhh, yea...

Re: Oregon Trail Rally May 4th-6th 2012
The owner/driver of the Lancia Scorpion told me that it was a barn find, where it had been sitting for over 20 years, and he just finished the mechanicals right before the race. The engine he sourced from an EDM model, the 2.0L motor (from the European version - the'Monte Carlo'). This was his first effort, and unfortunately electrical problems stopped him from running the 2nd and 3rd days, but at PIR it sounded absolutely amazing!

I saw one for $3500 when I was car shopping at about 17, decided against it because it'd be a pain to maintain, I still regret it

Guess I'll have to drive my SS out there sooner rather than later.
