Fuel injector latency?

Hi ya!

This question is not a crazy hard question but i would like some sort of answer.

What is the factory fuel injector latency time on a legacy ss?

Like .5ms or 500uS


I have been mucking with my 550cc yellow tops for some time now....runs not to bad just does not like off the light going some times.

Other wise the car pulls! LIKE IT PULLS!!!! Amazing what a bit of gas can do.


Any input would be nice.

I don't necessarily have any info on the stock turbo legacy injector latency values. However can tell you, there are going to be different latencies at different voltages. The values are going to be in milli seconds and should range from 6-8 ms at 6 v to probably around .75-.8 at 15v.

Those are just educated guesses based on what I've seen, so don't use it as gospel.
