Broken wheel studs... Best replacement?

Post by alexandermf »

So 3 out of 4 wheels on my legacy have 1 broken wheel stud. Best to buy arp extended upgraded wheel studs in the packs which would be way more expensive, or is the part compatible with other wheel studs from other models at the parts store/dealership

Rockauto has the proper studs for about $2 each.

If you prefer not to hammer and bang, you can also get complete hubs w/ studs for about $35-$45 each.

I would probably just replace them with stock or whatever they have at your local parts store. The ARPs are really only worth it if you are using big wheels and spacers and changing them a lot for track use or something. Plus you need new open ended lug nuts to go along with them so it is like a $200 affair and will look kind of silly with an average/stock set of wheels.
