found some kyb agx adjustables with whitelines as a combo for a 2.5rs for 650 and seeing as how shocks alone at my local tire center are qupted at 750 for my car it thought id get them. will this setup work and will it slam my car. cuz thats what im going for. like a 2.5 - 3 inch drop and 18in wheels an has anyone tried coil spring locks on their car to lower it an inch or two.

I'd do a search, but I don't remember reading anything about the coil spring locks. The imprezza struts have been discussed, but I don't remember the current thought on them. I think that they can work. The whiteline springs are not going to drop your car 3 inches. More like 1.5 or 1 inch.

I think 1.5in is what they say for drop. The springs are made for the Impreza so while they should fit (if you have the non tapered rear springs) they won't be the right rate. Also the weight front to rear is different so it might not sit straight.
On the other hand for that price I might just try it, you are going to jack up the spring rate with a clamp.

Well, I guess I wasn't being very specific. I think they can be made to work, but no one here is running them, as far as I know. There was a post earlier that had all the different sturt specs for the different models and how the weight was distributed. That would be good to look at.
Also, with the springs, I don't know if they will work with the tapered springs, you may need to get new strut tops for the back at least and springs that are non-tapered in order to make it work.

I remember someone was using either stock wrx or rs springs(dunno what struts) and it was pretty low, so this might be a little too low.
