My car was number 83 I believe. I was in bed at before 10 pm. I had one beer and I'm not too happy that I've apparently been banned from any possible future WCSS. They never spoke with me about anything and I'm not sure what even happened.

I think some of this is due to the group with the silver Nissan truck, the one that had silly string over most of the bed and a penis drawn on the back window. I'm thinking another factor might be the whipped cream that was put on some cars near where we were.

I highly doubt it was actually this group. That is the great thing about us older generation we know how to work on our cars and get stuff to work that probably shouldn't work for our cars. Meaning we have intelligence. I hope they try and at least get some real facts before they do anything. I am sure there has to be video from someone somewhere they can get info from.

Wow, I wish I could have made it. Awesome cars and I want to know hwat that Legacy, SVX hearted twin turbo monster sounds like.
On another note I posedt on the facebook page an idea, this is copied from the page:

I have a good idea for away to bring everyone togther. Collecting trash at the end. Cleaning up after some event. Make it a point to have pride for your group. Some of the problem comes from the difference in age and different cars. It used to just be against hondas but now it has come into our own groups. STi is better, Legacy sucks, your car is stock but you actually take it camping and off road, I don't like that so you don't belong here. This needs to be a Subaru community, somehow we need everyone to realize we are able to come together because Subaru decided to make these cars and we need to celebrate the fact that we can get together and express ourselfs through our vehicles.

^ That's a good idea.

I should join the facebook page too. Gonna go look there now.

BoostedSubie, I'd love to get full-res copies of those photos you took. I didn't take near as many photos at the event as I'd have liked, and didn't manage to get any videos recorded of my car in the mud pit - as boring as that sequence may have been I'd have enjoyed capturing my first experience out there.

I heard the twin turbo EG33 Legacy run at idle and it didn't sound as good as I was expecting but it uses equal length headers so didn't have as much of the Subie rumble but that's how every SVX that I have heard sounds like. It still was an amazing car and very unique.

I'd be happy to give you a set of pics I took. I also have pics of the two previous years of WCSS. They aren't the greatest pics as they are taken from a point n shoot camera, not like the nice DSLRs everyone else seems to have.

The person who tried to drive away in the staff golf cart was hanging out in the area where you guys were parked. That is probably why your numbers got included in the ban list. Mike Tracy know the name of the person who was the theif, he should tell WCSS. I was hanging out with Danny(good to talk with you and your Mom there), and you were not involved with that incident, because it happened at the same time I was with you. After I left you guys and headed back to my camp, I passed a bunch of staff who were headed to the situation. A couple of minutes later Mike showd up and described what had happened.

Message WCSS and have a conversation with them, phone would be nice, and tell them what you know and where you were, and I am sure they will be reasonable when they understand you guys had nothin to do with it.

But yeah, early Legacy grouup has been branded as the culprits, scum bad guys. Maybe Jake can enlighten WCSS because PIA is a sponsor and will listen to him.

Hey Guys,

Tex here, organizer of the WCSS.

I sincerely think that not all the cars on our list our guilty. However, because the guy gave us several false names, and would not tell us who he was with, which car he belonged to, etc... we have to assume the whole group was together.

We hope some of you come forward with information regarding the people camped around you, and are able to help us find the true perpetrator. Specifically the wagon with the bike rack, as the guy was seen retrieving beer out of it, as well as riding a bike around (and ditching it near those cars). We know at least 1 or 2 other guys helped him move and hide from us, and they were also quite abrasive with us when we tried to talk to them. They did not give us any names, or other information either.

We also agree that a lot of the messing with car issues seems to have come from the VW and Truck w/ penis on it. However we have no information who they are, who they are with, etc...

I appreciate the couple of you that have already contacted us.

No problem. After my first year going 3 years ago, I decided I would be going every year no matter the circumstances. I work so much and this is one of the few things I get to look forward to every year. It is always a great time. I want to try and make it to Subiefest and the Wicked Big Meet one year.
