Brett's 93 Legacy LS wagon

Post by Gonefishin207 »

Picked this up a few weeks ago for an awesome price. Has TWO spots of rust on the front fenders and that's it. Came from Florida, a very rare find here in Maine. This is also the oldest Subaru I have ever owned.

Auto - NOOOOOO

Green exterior/Tan interior

Have a few other parts to put together and drop in someday. Not pictured are the EJ25D heads but I do have them. I have a 2003 Wrx ecu but I think it would be a pain to wire in, and it wont work with the EJ25D heads. I do have a pair of EJ251 heads and intake but I think I may be better off with a legacy SS ecu or a jdm ecu. Would like to run it at 8 or 10 psi.

Thanks! I plan on getting another set of 16" wrx wheels for summer tires too, or RS wheels but leave them the original color. I'm trying to figure out what color the car is so I can order paint and redo the bumpers.

Weelllllll...I'm hoping it's Forest Pearl Mica - 378. You can find out on the tag that's on the drive side strut tower under the hood. In any case, whatever it is, post up some pictures in the color codes thread! (shameless plug).

Looks great! Did you color the td04 yourself?

Ok cool! and yeah I painted the TD04. Used self etching primer then some Chevy orange high temp engine paint followed by high temp clear coat. My favorite color is orange so I figured why not. I may just bolt it up to the existing 2.2 in the car and not bother with the 2.5 heads, but I need to do a bit more research before making my decision. I can run it on the current setup at 5-6psi and make stock wrx power (or close to it), or slap the 2.5 heads on and run higher boost to make that same power but have to put in so much more effort to fuel and time it correctly.
