Slanty ones from the first gen Sti's are good to..I run one and like it better then the wrx one because it just fits better.

Those are getting hard to find. I swapped from a wrx slanty to an 06 wrx tmic, and the difference in spool and reduced heatsoak was night and day. Felt like I fixed a totally clogged exhaust! Note that experience was with a td05. I don't think a vf11 or td04 is big enough to feel a difference, or at least not such a drastic difference.

Mike, was that with the black or silver slanty? I know the silver (STI) one looks like it probably flows much better than the black one.

Sadly it was with a black wrx slanty tmic. I'm looking for the sti version to keep as a backup.

Ive got the black one and literally felt no different between the slanty and the forester TMIC i had. The black one just fits better.
