5MT Driveshaft Oil Seals / O-Rings Part Numbers?

Post by James614 »

Just wondering if anyone had the part #s for these? I'm looking to replace mine, both the seals and o-rings where the CV axles connect, as well as the oil seal on the back that the prop shaft goes into. But in the parts book there is no diagram showing the seals and o-rings, just a listing of what they are and there's like 10 different oil seals to pick from. The FSM naturally shows where and what they are, but doesn't give you enough info to match it to specific ones in the parts book. There's a kit that's like $70, but seeing as I need a grand total of 3 seals and 2 O-rings, I feel like I'd be wasting a bit of cash on that.

Any help would be super-appreciated.

I can get them, but am going to be away from my computer until next Sunday. You can try looking through this thread to see if they're in there.

Didn't find them in that other thread. Did find the P/N for my cargo cover clips though, that'll come in handy someday.

Maybe this post should be merged with that thread?

I'll update that thread once I can get the numbers. I have them because I ordered them at one point and time.....just need to find them when I get home.

Any luck in finding the part numbers? My car went into storage already (seems they only seeped during autoX, so should be good to sit), but would still be a great reference for the future.

James,

I've done a bit of checking and double checking since I couldn't find the actual parts, but here's what I believe are the correct part #'s.

The seals are the same, regardless of being AT or MT. Actually found that in an old post

MT & AT
RH: 806730031
LH: 806730032

The bearing cap O-ring part # is 806975010, and you need two of them.
