Td05 16G Oil feed lines

Post by Baddog »

I am looking at doing the robtune with the 16g and 550cc injectors. I am curious as to what turbo lines you guys used. I would like to replace them.

I found these but they have different fitting sizes and the T fitting in there doesn't make much sense.

Based on some recent posts (link below), I would recommend against changing the oil feed line. You may open up a can of worms you don't want to.

HI,
That kit's T-fitting is likely for tapping the oil pressure line off the engine (near the PS pump/pulley). The stock VF11 oil line WILL work w/the TD05. The VF11 water pipes will not - they require the larger banjo bolts, etc.

Edit: water pipes can be made bigger, but larger banjo bolts will be needed.

You can use a step bit to drill out the VF11 coolant lines and use them. That's what I did. If they make ones that fit though, you should probably get those.

I would like to find ones that fit. Anyone have any suggestions? Or at least know the bolt size? I would be worth buying one of those kits for just the coolant lines. I have used the Kinugawa kits on td04's with no issues. But that guy in the link you sent me Legacy777 did have issues.
