DIY: Rear badge overhaul

Post by thenicky0 »

Hey guys...I'm posting up here in case anyone else gets bored like me and wants to freshen up their rear end (lol). Subaru wants $30 something for new rear badges. I thought, eff that. Bought some chrome mirror finish tape on ebay and used some black vinyl and came up with the following:

Directions should be pretty simple but lay the black vinyl over the badge making sure to cut relief points on the corner. Then cut out a chrome square. Cut out a black L/LS/AWD whatever your little heart desires. Paste this onto the chrome strip. Lay the chrome strip over the black vinyl and voila.

P.S: This took entirely way too long lol

Wether it took entirely too long or not, that looks pretty damn good. Great idea!
