The wife just said her gas pedal stuck a few times

Any one have that happen? Its a 93, is it a throttle cable going bad?

I would suspect the cable, mine has been sticking for awhile now and have a replacement cable but haven't replaced it yet. But only sticks at idle. It will hang up and my rpm will be around 1200 but if I blip my throttle it will unstick.

I did some spray lube on the pivot points of the pedal and the throttle body and so far no complaints.

I've done that but didn't help, hope you have better results.
