Purchasing oil piston squirters

Post by dankberries »

Hey BBS,

So I did some searching and didn't find any discussion on here where to purchase oil piston squirters, sorry if it's already been covered.

So I've been doing a bit of digging around trying to find an answer. Looking through US parts catalogs I'm unable to find anything for the ej22t engine specifically, and calling the dealership has rendered nothing.

I began searching JDM and EDM parts catalogs and found a parts number for oil squirters/jets found in the very similar ej20g engine. I then started punching the parts # into to Google and was able to find a few places that are selling OEM new ej20g oil squirters/jets.

It's my best guess that ej20g squirters/jets are identical to ej22t and likely have the same pressure relief settings, but don't quote me on that because I haven't found any literature yet stating exactly what they are set for.

Oil squirter/jet parts #:
15036AA010

Oil squirter/jet washer(gasket) parts #: 803905020

Some websites I've found selling the squirters/jets:

RHD japan - JDM land -I've purchased many parts from these guys and would consider them a very reputable seller.

ImportCarParts - out of the UK

Advanced automotives - a bit pricey, out of Europe

Partsouq.com - selling them for USD $1.15 ea! - online reviews were good, I just made a purchase and will update if its legit.

Hope this helps some people out! - Cheer's

Thanks for that. I just bought some from a member, new oem squirters. Maybe we can compare when you get yours in.

Ok, the oil jets arrived in the mail today from partsouq.com. Crazy out of Dubai, and wow, shipped out on May 1st and arrived today on May 3rd! They were a $1.15 a piece, $4.60 total, plus shipping came to a total of $15.39!

They look like the real deal:

Partsouq.com says they have over 100 in stock, for that price I think it's not a bad idea to go ahead and replace yours in your next engine build/rebuild.

This is great info!

Don't forget the washer either as the old washers can sometimes get squished/bent as they are soft aluminum.

You can try googling the parts # for the washer: 803905020.

Also RHDjapan and advanced atomotives offer a combo package of the oil jet and washer.

Spoke with an online Subaru parts dealer, after my purchase of 4 washers there are 21 left in the country.

I imagine it should be possible to find an equivalent, I need to take some measurements and do some research. If you can perhaps take some measurements when you receive your new ones, and share, that would be awesome! Time has not been on my side working 7days a week, I'm unsure when I can get to it.

I should have them in a week or so they said it could take up to 5 days to get them from Subaru as it's not a part they keep in stock (no surprise). I'll update with measurements when I get them.

I need some washers as well. I am capping off the squirters, but want to use proper washers under a shouldered bolt.

I am going to measure the old ones and see if I can find a copper or aluminum washer of same size....maybe on McMaster-Carr

I'm glad this popped back up. I have the washers but completely forgot to measure them. I'm making a reminder on my phone to measure them Thursday evening when I'm not working.

Just in case this helps anyone in the future.

Oil jet/squirter washer measurements: .405" OD, .208" ID, .039" thick. Or 10.3mm OD, 5.3mm ID, 1mm thick.

I ordered washers from McMaster Carr, part no. 93286A011. About $10.00 for 100 washers iirc. Over 11k on my build so far.
