What intercooling strategy is best for an SS running 17-20 pounds of boost as a DD?

Process West Verticooler

Post by k3rb3ros »

Has anyone ever tried to fit one of these in an SS? Will it fit? If so how much modification is necessary? I would like to keep my car with a TMIC but I worry with my new engine modifications that the 06 WRX intercooler I have won't cut it anymore.

I think as a daily driver the best route is fmic for those boost goals.

I haven't seen any first gens with a v mount setup though. might be kinda cool looking, but there sure isnt much room to play with there.

I like air to water personally, but it certainly is more complicated then air to air.
