This was the most pleasant forum thread I've ever read!
Hats off for putting so much effort and being so meticulous, amazing work!

Have you managed to finish the project? Do you drive the car? It'd be so great to see it!

I have a question about the prodrive seats and driver's position relative to the steering column, which originally is quite off to the left (driver being rather close to the door and off to the left from the center of the steering wheel). Is it any better with the prodrive seats?

Thank you so much for documenting your work here, it'll be a joy to read and an inspiration to many, myself included.

Thanks for your interest in the project and I appreciate your kind comments. I am still building the car very slowly because of other projects and customer cars and I also imported my 22B and went through that as well as starting another project rebuilding my 1990 Legacy RS type r . I generally post updates on my carbuildsbyslade page on facebook and instagram but I do need to update this again at some stage so people can see the car now. I think you’d like the type r , it’s a similar build in some respects but closer to the original factory specs

Regarding the seats, I think they are good because they’re lower, I am not certain how much it changes the position in relation to the wheel, I guess I have driven them so long that I haven’t thought about that much. I’ll have to consider that when I sit in the car and let you know
