Needed: Legacy Central Slogan

Post by DLC »

We need a simple, to-the-point slogan for the site that may be used in conjunction with the logo, which is also needed. I'd like to use this for applications such as the license plate frame or where simple text is ideal for the situation.

Please keep it as short as possible and abide by any other rules of good taste :D

Turbo traction for the turbo members, or "power is nothing without control" or something like that.

We'd need to make sure it applies to all Legacies; not just turbos or 4WDs.

"Who's your daddy?" :) Just joking around though...

Why do we need a slogan? I think it would be really hard to sum up what's so cool about Legacy Central in a sentence. It's certainly more than just what's cool about our cars; these forums have a rare kind of atmosphere, I think.

Why not just "legacycentral.org" on the license plate frame and stuff?

My girlfriend likes, "Let the dust-eating commence."

I don't; it sounds cocky to me.

I like the licence plate frame idea, I'd definitely sport one. :)

I kinda like the one THAWA posted that Grant came up with, Power, Performance, Reliability. It's not specific to awd or the turbo either.

I definitely think that bbs.legacycentral.org looks better then just legacycentral.org though too.

problem with power, performance, reliability is well, the N/A's dont really have power, even a stock turbo doesn't have much power, and a Legacy L isn't really a performance car either. So in my opinion its kinda cheesy, but thats my humble opinion

Yeah, I know what you mean, Mark.

I don't want it to sound like it's bragging or anything like that either... I mean, we all do every once in a while have something go wrong. And it'd feel dumb to be stuck on the side of the road with your car not running and a sticker on the back that says "Power, Performance, and Reliability."

LegacyT: I dont like the PPR slogan either, but it is right. For the price our cars have the most of all three combined.

I don't know, I've met a lot of less reliable Hondas. We won't even get into body rust.

I think what makes this site so great doesn't even have anything to do with our cars.....I have never seen a group of people more willing to help an individual with a problem. And for that I offer my slogan

"bbs.legacycentral.org: Its not the car...its the community"
