Yeah, the thread size should be no big deal.

I may paint the mug in spray epoxy after it's all done to help protect the Goop, so the color shouldn't matter.

The Goop?

I am probably going to JB Weld the brass peices to the mug and then if the elbow is plastic, I'll epoxy it on there.

I was thinking of spraying the resonator with High-temp engine paint, but then decided not to.

What I might do is mount my temperature sensor in the mug. I have an inside/outside temperature thing that I picked up, and I've been toying with the idea of putting the sensor inside my intake so I could get a feel for the temperature of the intake charge (since outside temperature is either to hot, to cold, or just right).

I dunno... I was thinking Automotive Goop(tm)... but epoxy or JB Weld would be just as good I suppose.

I just got home, man you guys have been busy!

I'm down, and after 7 on Wed. works for me too. I'll just need directions coming from I-270 N to your house BAC. .

I might want to do the mug mod at some point. I had some problems with my car this week and it cost me. So I'm not sure how I'll be sitting this next week but maybe.

Well, if you want to do the coffee mug mod, I'll be doing it, lol.

Well, I'll be setting it all up you see. I don't know if the stock vaccum hoses will be long enough.

And mine.... Around the neighborhood :(

VRG3 - Did you try to call me the other day? I got a call from a number I didn't know, and they asked for Bill or Phil. I asked "who" and they said it was the wrong number (I didn't hear if they said Bill or Phil). Was that you?

Did you get your brothers Supra running? He should bring that over too ;)

I'm still coming too.

I dunno who called you; wasn't me.

We've had some rough luck with the Supra. On Sunday we found the strut top mounts' seals were the consistency of old fruit roll-ups. We tried to assemble the big brake kit in the meantime and found that the rotors rubbed on one of the caliper bracket bolts, so he had to take that to a machine shop and have them work some magic on a mill. So the work has been dead in the water since Sunday.

The mounts are coming in today though so my brother'll probably be doing a lot of wrenching while we're meeting at your place. I think he's gonna pick the stuff up from the machine shop today too.

Lets do a bump up. Anyone down for another meet?

Vikash - When do you get home from NY for summer?

Hopefully I'll have the 94 on the road soon. I talked to my parents about it, and we are going to see what happens with my 95 but I might register the 94 and keep the 95 on the corner so it gets exposure (it's sure as hell not getting sold sitting in the parking lot here in WV).

When do you guys want to meet? I am anxious to see (and hear) Matt's new exhaust.

Phil

I dunno yet when I'll be back in the DC area; it depends on when I can get my thesis finished. I may be making a couple of weekend trips back though to move all my stuff (if you read my "packrat" thread in the Parts Shed you know I have way too much of it) though. I'll keep you guys posted.

Switching the 94 onto the road makes some sense... No use putting more and more miles onto a car you're trying to sell.

Maybe you should change the title of this thread to reflect what it's about now. :)

I'm always down to hang out. Unfortunetely though I'm usually not down there on the weekends much. :(

I'm anxious to see and hear my new exhaust too. It's gonna be a big project to get it installed though because of all the other stuff I need to do while I have the DP and up-pipe out ,rear cam seal, turbo oil supply line and valve covers (not a must while having the turbo out but I need to replace them and don't want oil dripping on my new up-pipe).

Vikash, once your thesis is done and you start moving, you're more then welcome to stop in on the weekends and stretch the ol' legs a bit.

Ya, I should definitely be able to make it. I'm done with the job in Annapolis and I'm starting a job in Rockville, so I should have a little more free time now. ;)

AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

The car will be in the shop again on Monday. The alignment is messed up, and the steering binds at slow speeds (when they "fixed" the powersteering rack, I think that's what did it).

It also sounds like I've got a wheel bearing going bad.

I HOPE it will be out by Tuesday, and it SHOULD be, but I don't know.

I am getting tint tomorrow. That'll seperate our cars a little, Matt.

But I don't know...

I don't know that I'll have the car on Wednesday guys. I HOPE I do, but we'll see.
