I dont mind shit talking perse, something like my buddy who has a bad ass camaro talking smack about subarus is just funny, shit talking where the person obviously has no idea about cars or tries to insinuate that I dont know anything about cars, that is annoying.

Ok, well either you are wrong or the owner's manual to my dad's 1990 Geo metro was wrong. Because I specifically remember it mentioning a turbo Metro. Unless that manual was used for both cars and they failed to mention the turbo was the sprint...I'd like a mitsubishi mirage turbo, small but quick, or a mazda gtx

it is possible that that manual included info on a chevy sprint since geo was under GM ownership but I am not sure. there could be a turbo geo but I doubt it.

Isuzu Impulse = Geo Storm. There was a Turbo Geo.

I saw a Turbo Sprint the other day. With the neat little "intercooled" badge.

Killed: Some old chevy 2wd truck w/ tool box

Well, today on my way home from my girlfriends I was following this old Chevy truck, I wouldnt have really engaged in a speedy pursuit if it had not been his persistant pedal to the floor acceleration around almost every corner and at every stop sign. So as we both stop at the last stop sign he floors it (who knows if he was trying to get away from me or just driving fast) but I decide to pursue. The first 4 uphill corners are sharp S turns, usually taken at about 35mph if you are just cruisin'. So ofcourse he decides to cross into the other lane on every corner he can, and as we reach the top of the hill, he pulls of the road onto the shoulder in a hurry, but only to wip in behind me (I guess you could call it a wip, its a truck, nothin special...) and tries the old bright lights and right on ur ass trick, but of course he is slow and I am fast, I quickly leave him for dead because his car is slow....

ok, ok, I probably didnt need to write all this but I found it funny and a little fun.

Cliff Note: I make an old chevy pull off the road for me.

I pulled in behind a hopped up honda civic hatch with fart can. It was lowered and what not and had a full 4 people in it. As I cruise in behind them , one kid notices my FMIC and they all turn around to check it out... The I do a nice romp on their ass getting onto the freeway. Of course they didnt have a chance, with an extra 600 lbs in there...

While it wasnt a race, it was still fun.

In my old car I accidentally tried to race a cop. I was in a bad mood and it was raining really bad. There's a spot back near my parents house where people always try and whip past you at a stop light, so I was like fine, I am romping this crown vic. Just looked like some douche of a kid, light turned green and I jumped way out on him, and I could hear his engine so I went harder because he couldnt get traction. Next thing I knew he was next to me and I could see flashing lights, but I thought they were behind me so I tried to get over and he sped up. Now I was looking in my rear view for the cop, I coudlnt see him, then I looked over at the guy next to me and he had a badge pressed up against his window. So I slowed down and he went about his business. pretty funny That is one of the last times I really raced, with the exception of egging cars on in the snow like mustangs, civics and the such

I try to stay on topic, but I'm too curious now. "The Scooby" what do you have done that you beat Evo 8's or were they terrible drivers? :)

Have you actually SEEN an EVO launch? Those things can get down. I've driven more than one, and even stock they really scoot.
