Anyway, car is coming along nicely, are you using an EJ22T ecu?

ok i had to get this becuse i am nuts and i want 9000rpm and 260km speedo. its a real sti cluster from japan it came in the same modle like my car. change a couple of pins and bang it works, fit like oem.

soon there will be a video of me hitting 260kms, dyno tune this tuesday and where good to go. i am get the rev bummped up becuse the motor loves to rev high and make huge power, 8000rpm is the new cut off.
also this lable is a real sti carbon fiber piece that came in the half cut and i had to put it on to match the real sti jdm car. sti used the same dash as my 95gc L modle.

next to complete the hole car is my sti ver1-3 aluminum hood.
The pepole that are doing my dyno tune told me something that will shock the board in the ej22t legacy subaru, if it works i will let everyone no what is possible becuse the sky will be the limit on this one, and its going to be cheap to make ej22t motors so fast.
update soon

300 whp at 10 psi?NICO I WRX U wrote:^^ i hope 450hp i think i have stock right now at 10psi 300hp, its really really fast right now from changeng the heads.
I hope its true...but....I doubt it.
30 psi of boost, 120 octane, big turbo on STI block only made 450 whp. And I have touched this thing. It puts down an 11.6 at fast et.
I am betting on 300 whp at 20 psi.

Holy crap, you're hoping that you can sqeeze 450hp just on a vf22, dohc heads and dyno tuning?!?! I really hope this is true because on my 402.9whp dsm, it took 100 octane, a to4b v-trim t3/t4 @27psi, 720cc injectors, fmic, comp camshafts (equivalant to 272/272 hks) walbro 255lph pump, exhaust, some small nick-nack mods, and tuning via pocketlogger and gm maf translator (Link to Dyno vid and Graph). If you can get that 400-450whp just on those upgrades @18psi and 94 octane, I know for damn sure what I'm getting next!450hp i think i have stock right now at 10psi 300hp

ok good news and bad news, will start with the good news. paul at neetronics is the MAN. not only did he crack the legacy turbo ecu he can tune fuel, redline, timeing, even stock boost cotroler he can change. he siad that i dont even need a engien managment system ( like the dame greddy i got) everything can be tuned right on the stock ecu. put a transport truck turbo and a million cc injectors it can be tuned perfect.
bad news is turbo legacy maf sensors ARE SHIT. all most at 7psi i maxed out the maf sensor, so i got to get a ford 5.0 maf sensor. does anyone no a really good MAF i should get?
the rest of the bad news is we could not turn up the boost to tune, so he tuned it at 7psi. now when i came in i had 143hp@7psi, so he did his magic and at 7psi i made 200hp at the wheels. 200hp feels so good and smooth the car is perfect right now, then we tried 12 13psi and it made 260hp with the maf maxing out and he let off becuse he did not want it to blow up.
so bigger maf sensor and friday i am back. now he siad just bye the way it looks, its going to be makeing alot of power. what we think is 360-370hp at 18psi so the turbo does not blow hot air.
good news is guys no need for a engien managment, turbo ecu is gold.

heheh 7PSI with 200 to the wheels... all i can say is.... NICE. how would someone be able to use a different MAF such as a Ford, or nissan one or something like that? the plugs would be different right? would ya have to hard wire it without the plug? ive always been wondering this as it seems our MAF's always max out way too quick.
EDIT: o yea, almost forgot, how did he tune the ECU?? what did he actually do to be able to get inside and change all that?? sounds VERY interesting...

00 5MT AWD 2.5 RS - New Project
^^ ya not bad at 7psi, but i am going to use a sts northstar mafs. it came with a huge MAF and its good for alot of power.
to wire it up i geuss i got to cut and wire it up.
to tune our ecu he has a chip with long wires and a laptop and he plugs this in our ecu and the chip in a sepret box and then the laptop and away he goes.
he is crazy he is so smart at this tuneing, he can tune anything on our ecu so we can do anything.
