haha drama makes for a good build thread I think. Makes the read a bit more interesting.

I have been reading and the RS-RA might just be the toughest engine subaru ever made (I don't like to use "best"). Now only was it made in a time when racing regulations allowed for a lot more hp, the RS-RA block was made for the task of achieving the 100000km speed record challenge which is not an easy on the engine task.

If you mean the space on the rear trim piece (the big red thing that says LEGACY on it) then no, it doesnt fit on that.

What are you gonna do with the AC and PS pumps? That might be a factor.

i'd keep it black, the less gold their is the more the gold that is there will pop out. You want people to say "are thoes gold rocker covers" not "is that a gold AC"

So, care to release the small fortune you wrapped up in this bad ass build up? Or would that make you cry once you actually knew the true amount?

I must say that you have easily made all of us drool many times over with this build so far. Excellent job! Now keep the pictures coming...

When we do major builds on cars like this, we learn to take what we thought it was gonna cost and double it. That will get you in the ballpark.

Looks homo.

Valve covers gold. Block and heads silver, everything else should be black.
