Hmm, tempting. I'd prefer it without a transmission (like I would drive an automatic!), so the price IS a steal.

Haha, I'll drive up to MA and give you a ride. Mods would be minimal. Forged 2.35L with 2-liter heads, 6-speed, R180 and Brembos. Probably something smallish in the turbo department, a GT28RS or 3076 in a rotated format. I'd steal Dan's front-mount setup. Some form of coilover and 245's would do me just fine. Of course the compliment of STi crossmembers and suspension arms would go in place as well. For EMS, I'd probably work with TXS to get something to work reliably.

If I'm going to do it again, I'm going to do it the right way.

I'll never forget how scared I was to buy my 94 ABM after talking to you...

Care to trade + cash for a lifted 98 Forester? I'd almost definitely go for it if you did. Depends, of course, on the amount of cash though.

Never mind. the trans didn't go in today. I wasted more money on a crap tranny.

The pump shaft is cracked in half. so it is still the same as it was. except now I have no trans to go with the car. Sorry to say, but someone come get this f---ing thing from me!!! $1600

Tell me about it, MY SS is mechanically amazing but i bought it for 1500$ with blown struts and minor rust, Its a 5speed and fully loaded it is rare to see them on the market AT ALL
