He's having ignition issues with the rob tune and the ignition converter (sorry kimo, i guess you could answer these too. Hope I'm ok for putting your business out there...) and has had these issues for quite some time now. I'm trying to convince him to get rid of his patch harness and convert to coil on plug, which maybe that's what he's doing at his buddies shop.
