Well, you and Dave could choose your own titles if you wanted, right? So I guess the level to reach would be administrator.

You guys don't really want to get me started on Post Whoring. I am one of the top ten PW's over at Cobb's site with over 2500 posts...You could call that my home group. But I will behave myself over here and not bring my evil ways into this nice pristine forum.

nah, I don't think it's goin to happen.
It's human nature to abuse special priviliges. If I put it so that people with a certain post count can only have special titles, then people post whore.....
You can call me a hard ass, but this board is easy to admin/moderate.....only when we enabled avatars did I really have to keep intervening on sizing & other issues, etc.
I prefer the KISS method.....

I agree wholeheartedly Josh. The last thing we need here is post whores. There's plenty of other forums for those types of shenanigans .

Josh if you don't want post whores just allow everyone to pick their title
. (I know It's most likely going to happen, but still worth a shot) I do see where you're coming from, I'm sure the titles would get out of hand soon enough.

Something we have done on other forums is petition for titles. This keeps the en-titled from getting their ego involved in it and actually makes it appropriate to their forum personality and the result of their peers opinions. I think it is great. Personally, I couldn't care less what my title is. That's what my signature and location are for...
