Use the starting fluid test. A leaky instake manifold gasket is a vacuum leak.

well yeah obviously look at it.. but i rather try something that does not require taking it apart first :-/ The problem has me quite frustrated its been going on for a while and other than that the engine is strong and the body is in good condition.
