No, never did... I still haven't even finished building my homebrew injector testing rig.

But that's way cool that Tod did it already! 580cc/min is a pretty nice number. Sweeeeet.

Note that 580 is the injectors that don't have the cap on them.

I was looking at the spare 92-94 na injectors I got.....I really don't see any "hat" that can easily be removed without messing up the injector.

Am I looking at wrong.....I can try to take some close up pics if that would help.

You're right. What the guy did was remove the whole cap from the bottom on one of the injectors, and he enlarged the holes on two more injectors, and sent in the last injector stock. To get a constant. The one without the cap flowed 580cc/min, and the two with the enlarged holes flowed 500cc/min. He also went on to say that it's not advisable to not have the cap on, because without it the o-ring wont seat properly and as soon as you turn your car on your cylinders will be flooded.

the thing is that with the wrx injectors which this all started with, if you grind too low then the plunger comes out. but with these injectors they dont even if you take it all the way down to the plunger and lower. the only problem is that the plungers dont move either.

thing is too that the weld on the na injectors is a fine weld on the tip of the injector. so when i had at it again i used a fine engraving bit to take the weld off. well after i took the weld off the thing with the holes on it didnt come off nor did it want to. well after a few days i got pissed and stright took the engraver to the little screen (thing with 4 holes in it). and directly in the middle of the injector is a little divit where the plunger should be. none of the material in the divit or around it will come off with the engraver now. as soon as i get time im gonna send them to rc enginering
