jesus. theoretically, if the engines dont get grabbed, i could have a new motor by the end of february. then pull a transmission too i suppose

me and my brother have been lookin 4 turbo engines 4 a while and we went around to wrecking yards and finally found one with 2 of 'em. i hoping to pick up one of them soon. since my dad owns a shop he can pick them up for hecka cheap without tax so i could maybe get it for less but i dont know yet. but they didnt have any awd manuals... we checked

I have two spare engines. One is going to be a monster one day and the other is sitting in storage somewhere. Both have knocking rods.

If I'm not mistaken, Byers Imports in Columbus, Ohio has an EJ22T crate engine that they got when the turbos first came out. I guess they never had to replace any engines, so they still have it.
